All the people who follow me on Twitter know my sense of humor. I sometimes forget the blogosphere will give it more weight than I intended.
I was a little shocked at how adult some of the humor was, because I was never that into animation before and when I watched 'Shrek' I really laughed out loud.
Absurdity is what I like most in life, and there's humor in struggling in ignorance. If you saw a man repeatedly running into a wall until he was a bloody pulp, after a while it would make you laugh because it becomes absurd.
Every time I do a movie like 'Finding Neverland' or 'Chocolat' or 'Shakespeare' in Love, ' we deal with the creative process, but there's humor and fun along the way. I always love that kind of movie.
